Advance Multi-day Raft trip Class IV (V)
The package includes 2 days of exciting whitewater rafting (Class IV-V) bridged by a comfortable overnight camping experience.Enjoy a glass of wine from our exclusive provider Stoney Mesa near a riverside campfire while our staff prepares a delicious dinner that will satisfy even the heartiest of appetites. Fillet mignon, baked potato, toss salad make up your dinner accompained by our very own pineapple upside cake.
After your adventurous raft trip and relaxing evening, you'll retreat to your 3-season Mountain Hardware tent and sleeping bag for a restful nights sleep under the stars. You'll awaken refreshed by the smell of fresh brewed coffee and get a start on a new rafting day after eating a warm breakfast of eggs and French toast. Camping has never been so good! The trip begins near Granite, Colorado for our exciting Pine Creek portion of the trip. The group will have plenty of time before getting into the Class IV (V) whitewater as the river spills through steep grade and boulder choked rapids. This first day of rafting takes us through the Numbers Section and the famed Pine Creek (V) rapid of the Arkansas River with over 20 rapids.
This trip camps at the Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area site known as Railroad Bridge Camp site. Our staff will greet you with a delicious appetizer and cold beverage after a high adrenaline afternoon. Relax around a campfire where we prepare a delicous meal from either menu, filet mignon, baked potato and green salad or the terryaki chicken cashew stirfry over teamed rice. To top it off our guides will treat you to a freshly baked pineapple-upside-down cake.

Packing Suggestions
You won’t need much. Lakota Guides will outfit you with most everything you’ll need, in fact most of the items you’ll need are what you would bring on a typical overnight while staying at a hotel.
We will provide you with dry bags for cloths, a Mountain Hardware tent, sleeping pad, a sleeping bag. Ideally you should be able to pack your items all into two paper grocery bags.
Each participant will be partnered with another for tents and dry bags to reduce excess. Groups traveling in even numbers will of course pair up with in their own party. Individuals requesting a private tent will be charged an additional fee.
Your main stay in clothes for the river trip will be a bathing suit and/or shorts. Again, do not over pack.

Meeting at our Outpost the day of trip:
We will schedule with you a time which you’ll need to be at our outpost for pre-trip packing. If staying at a hotel in the Vail Area/Eagle Valley we’ll meet with you the night prior and shuttle you the following day to our outpost. Remember this is only 1 night not a week, so pack accordingly. On our trips we provide you with a complimentary glass of wine if you wish for more libations we’ll have room to pack it on our boats. If you are unable to purchase it prior to departure our guides can swing you by a store prior to launch (NO GLASS CONTAINERS.)

Lakota Guides is not responsible for any cancellations or modifications of tours due to weather condition, road hazards, vehicle breakdowns, or other unforeseen conditions that may hinder the ability for the tour to take place as scheduled. We reserve the right to cancel or modify any trip due to circumstances beyond our control such as water levels at the time of the trip. In such cases, we cannot be responsible for paying any expenses you may have incurred other than to refund monies due to you for tour price. In the event that you must cancel your reservation, you will be charged as follows: All trips except Multi-days and Groups (10+) full refund outside 24hours. Cancellations with in 24 hours 50% non-refundable and cancellations with in 6 hours of trip 100% non-refundable.
Multi-days or Groups (10+) full refund outside 72 hours. Multi-days or Groups (10+) cancelled between 72 and 24 hours 20% deposit non-refundable.
