Possible choppy waters depending on Dam releases, wind, and weather patterns. River current moves at approx. 2-3 mph. Paddling is leisurely although it is necessary; this is not a "float" trip. Some hiking over wet surfaces is required to reach hot springs. Hot spring temperatures range from 85F-120F degrees.
