Float down the Wild & Scenic Skagit River through the North Cascades to have lunch and taste an array of locally grown wines at the Glacier Peak Winery. After lunch, return to the river with your wine to float through the Bald Eagle Natural Sanctuary, a 3,000 acre preserve that is home to bald eagles, osprey, elk, deer, beaver, and river otters. Boating and fine wines make the perfect day for family, friends, and business partners!

Glacier Peak Winery is a small vineyard that grows and ferments Pinot Noir, Agria, and Siegerrebe on site to produce about 750 cases per year and is only available at the winery. Owners Stephen and Susan Olsen selected the location for the vineyard since the mountain valley has high heat units and the nearby Skagit River moderates the air temperature to minimize the risk of hard frost during the growing season. This unique micro-climate allows the Olsens to grow Pinot Noir on the West side of the Cascades and makes the Upper Skagit Valley the perfect climate for producing World-Class White Wines.
