The Numbers on the Arkansas River is one of the most difficult sections of commercially rafted river in the Colorado. Although this section winds its way through an awesome high alpine setting, you'll probably be too busy paddling to even notice! This section is narrow, rocky, and technical with relentless drops and continuous whitewater. This is where it all begins, the headwaters of the Arkansas River! Thrill seekers beware, the Numbers is a physically demanding paddle adventure, and not a trip for the faint-hearted. This trip is an AAE Exclusive and takes you through beautiful Brown's Canyon and the thrilling 'Numbers'. This trip also includes a gourmet riverside lunch at our Riverside Beer Garden and Grill. The Numbers trips depart from our Johnson Village office, 2 miles south of Buena Vista. Get a good night's sleep...you'll need it.
