Annadel State Park, Santa Rosa

This oasis in the middle of an urban setting has something for everyone.  The hike is easy to moderate (5 miles), and we can stop at Lake Ilsanjo for a swim if the day is hot!

Armstrong Woods State Park, Guerneville

This is an intermediate to expert hike that includes two climbs to ridgelines.  The highlights of this hike are the two amazing Giant Redwoods we pass: the 310 foot Parson Jones tree and the 1400 year old Armstrong Tree.  5 miles with amazing views.

Coastal Hike: Kortum Trail, Jenner

This trail offers spectacular views of Sonoma's County's coastline.  Start at Blind Beach and head to Shell Beach, with the option of adding the Pomo Canyon Loop.  4-6 miles of easy to intermediate hiking along beaches and through meadows full of wildflowers.

Sugarloaf Ridge State Park/Brushy Peaks, Santa Rosa

Challenging hike with stunning views of both Napa and Sonoma.  This hike takes you up 1750 feet in 7 miles.  The ridge at the top offers amazing 360 degree views.

Jack London State Park, Sonoma

Visit the famous author's beautiful ranch.  We begin at the Wolf House, the dream house Jack built but which burned to the ground only months before they were to move in.  We continue the hike up Sonoma Mountain to a small lake on the property, passing through redwoods and Douglas fir's.  This is an easy 3.5 mile hike.
