7 Hours . .

The Whitewater & Wine Tour is quickly becoming a customer favorite. It is 7 hours of non-stop fun including a personal pick-up within the heart of Leavenworth and being transported to the meet point in Cashmere, the awesome waves on the Wenatchee River, a yummy Top Sirloin Steak BBQ, and 3 hours of local winery touring. All in the comfort of our Adventure Bus.

Itinerary

Day 1

From the Blue Sky Outfitters store located in Leavenworth you will be taken to our meeting point, Riverside Park in Cashmere, WA. Please bring your change of clothes with you at this point so you'll have them once you are finished rafting and back at Riverside Park. The whitewater adventure embarks from Dryden dam, between Cashmere and Leavenworth, and the excitement begins immediately as you launch directly into Upper Gorilla and Sharkstooth, filled with lots of fun waves.

Soon you'll be upon Drunkards Drop, with thrilling walls of whitewater and waves that are truly unforgettable! The finale is the sandstone ledges of Snowblind and the massive waves of Grannys and Suffacator. Our trip ends back at Riverside Park where you will enjoy our well known Top Sirloin Steak BBQ complete with corn on the cob, potato salad, french bread and lemonade.

Now that you've had a thrill for the day and had a great meal, let's go wine tasting! An Adventure Bus will be waiting for you at Riverside Park, and after finishing your meal you will embark on a 3 hour winery tour in comfort and style!

Important Travel Information

We'll pick you up at Blue Sky Outfitters Store in Leavenworth, Washington at 10 AM. It is located in the Alpenhof Mall on the street level.

Make sure you bring a change of clothes to wear after the rafting portion of the tour. The trip will last 7 hours and we will finish the trip with our final wine tasting at the Okanogan Tasting Room in Leavenworth.

What to bring along:
You MUST bring a valid ID for the wine tasting portion of this tour

Swimsuit or shorts to wear under your wetsuit
Sunscreen
Change of clothes (we'll store those for you while your rafting)
Towel
Any medications you may need
Water bottle

$$ Wine Tasting fees are between $3-$5 per tasting room. This fee is waived if you purchase wine.

*Note: Please do not wear any cotton clothing (sweatshirts, jeans, etc.). Unlike wool and polypropylene, cotton will not keep you warm when it gets wet.

Blue Sky Outfitters Provides:
Farmer John style wetsuits (full body without sleeves)
Neoprene booties
Coast Guard Approved life jackets
Water resistant drybags on rafts (for extra sweaters, hats, snacks, etc.)

Cancellation Information

If you cancel within 14 days, there is no refund. If you miss your trip or are late for any reason there are no refunds or rescheduling. If you cancel 15 or more days prior to your trip, we will refund you monies paid minus 50% per person in the reservation. We seldom cancel or postpone a trip, but we reserve the right to do so when necessary: due to water conditions, weather, insufficient reservations, or other reasons beyond our control. In such a case, your fees will be refunded or applied to another trip, but not expenses incurred in travel.
