Relaxing 3/4 Day River Adventure (Raft or Kayak)
Enjoy a 7.5 mile paddle on the Class II waters of the Lower Gunnison River. This section of the river offers fun splashy waves and plenty of fun for the whole family, without the technical skill needed on the bigger water. A US National Conservation Area, managed by BLM, with excellent opportunities for solitude, wildlife and classic river exploration. Choose from tandem or single Inflatable Kayaks or Rafts (Oar or Paddle). A riverside lunch is include mid-way through our paddle, as well as a stop to view the Native American Rock Art on the canyon walls - or a chance to wet a line in the Gold Medal waters of the cool clear Lower Gunnison River. Safe fun in the sun for everyone!

Trips will depart promptly at designated trip time and head to the put-in location, a 1 hour drive to Lower Gunnison River (North Fork Confluence). Once we arrive at the the put-in, guides outfit each person with PFD's (personal flotation devise,) and Paddle Gear. Your Trip Leader then performs the RIGS "Saftey Talk." From here, we're assigned boats and review individualized instruction from your guides. Once the stage is set for a successful, safe and exciting trip we hit the water! This trip consists of an easy going 7.5 mile paddle throught the Canyon Country of the Lower Gunnison River. *Lunch Included.

In the event of a cancellation within 48 hours of your trip departure 100% of the balance will be charged and is considered non-refundable, (90 days out for Gunnison River trips.) * The cancellation of any reservation up to 48 hours will forfeit a standard cancellation penalty of: $15 per-person. (*Cancellation of any Gunnison River trip outside of the 90 days will forfeit a per-person cancellation penalty of: $200 per-person.)
RIGS is not responsible for any cancellations or modifications of tours due to weather condition, road hazards, vehicle breakdowns, or other unforeseen conditions that may hinder the ability for the tour to take place as scheduled. We reserve the right to cancel or modify any trip due to circumstances beyond our control. Clients will have the option to reschedule during the current season based on trip availability. However, trip insurance is always recommended, please contact your local travel agent to acquire trip insurance appropriate for this type of trip.
