A three-day trip down the Dolores River is a great way to enjoy an early season wilderness river trip! Nestled in one of the lesser-known parts of Colorado, the 47-mile Dolores trip is a gem. From the Ponderosa forest to the mountain desert, this trip offers variety unlike any other. KODI's two night, three-day Dolores trip starts at an elevation of 6,400 feet, at Bradfield Bridge and continues down to Slickrock. You will experience continuous class II water before entering one of the classic rapids of the West, Snaggletooth. During your three days on this beautiful river, you will see Anasazi Ruins and Petroglyphs, and may see a variety of wildlife, including Bighorn Sheep, Mule Deer, River Otters, Peregrine Falcons and Bald Eagles. Minimum age is 12, minimum group size is 6.
