The Skykomish river is the ultimate whitewater rafting experience in Washington State. Combining intense whitewater action with epic scenery, the “Sky’s” clear turquoise water flows around house sized boulders creating unique and challenging rapids.  The infamous class V “Boulder Drop” is one of the longest and hardest rapids in Washington, but it isn’t the only rapid that keeps our expert guides on their toes.  On this 9 mile stretch of river you'll experience numerous class III and IV rapids such as “Railroad,” “Deja Vu,” and “Lunch Hole.” If you’ve been rafting before and are looking for a more challenging and exhilarating adventure then the Skykomish River is the trip for you!

In the beautiful Columbia River Gorge you will find the Wild and Scenic stretch of the White Salmon River that offers non-stop whitewater action and clear glacier melt from Mt. Adams. Starting your rafting experience in BZ Corner it won’t take long to get hooked on the excitement of this gorgeous river. The very first rapid, class III+ “Top Drop” will give you just a little taste of the whitewater action there is to come. Paddling through the basalt-walled  gorge you’ll find yourself thinking “Is there possibly a more beautiful or magical place?” Just before you find yourself drifting-off into dreamland you paddle through class III “Stairstep” rapid which never seems to disappoint. Don’t worry the ride isn’t over yet, class V “Husum Falls” is an optional exhilarating 10-foot waterfall close to the end of the trip and is guaranteed to take your breath away. If you opt out of taking the plunge and experiencing the thrill of Husum Falls your rafting trip isn’t over yet, there’s still 2 more miles of excitement ahead. Riding the “bull” through “Rattlesnake” rapid is a highlight for most rafting guests on the White Salmon River.

The Tieton is the most anticipated river of the season.  Located near Yakima in the Snoqualmie National Forest the Tieton River roars with over 14 miles of endless class III+ whitewater excitement.  While just a creek in the summer, RimRock dam releases the whole month of September feeding the mighty Tieton River and creating intense rapids like “High Noon”, “Waffle-wall” and “Grasshopper.” Join us at the end of the season on the Tieton River for roller coaster waves, and beautiful desert weather.

The Green River is Seattle’s best kept whitewater secret. Often overshadowed by the Skykomish, the Green River is a twisting, wild, boulder-choked whitewater run through a beautiful steep-walled canyon that can be incredibly challenging and rewarding. You will be paddling through notorious class III and IV rapids like “Mercury,” "The Nozzle," and “Pipeline“ as you pass by several waterfalls cascading down the 150-300 foot tall canyon walls.  The combination of constant whitewater action and stunning scenery make the Green River a guest and guide favorite.  So give us a call and ask about the Green River, trust us, you don't want to miss out on this thrilling whitewater adventure. Most of our rafting trips are $79/p or less. We sell our gift certificates in increments of $79 to reflect and fulfill the appropriate rafting spots chosen by the purchaser.

When purchasing, please enter the party number as the number of $79 “spots” you would like to buy. This will reflect how many spots on a raft, or times you would like a person to be able to join us for a rafting trip.

Wildwater River Guides’ Professional Guide Training is a hands-on, comprehensive course designed to prepare you to be a whitewater guide in Washington.  Whether you are looking for employment in the whitewater industry or just looking to learn how to guide from the professionals. Wildwater’s Guide Training course will teach you the skills needed to guide with confidence.  Completion of the course does not guarantee employment with Wildwater River Guides.  There is more to being a professional guide than just river skills.  Wildwater hires guides with leadership abilities, positive attitudes, and good work ethic that also possess competent river skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all types of people. Washington State requires guides to be 18 years old, have completed a basic swift water rescue course, and be First Aid/CPR certified (not required to participate in training).

Starting April 6. Every Saturday and Sunday until May 5th (optional graduation float, May 11th).
