Head straight for the action of the New River Gorge with amazing Class III - V rapids. This trip is designed for guests who have a limited time frame. Most major rapids of the Lower New are included, however it is fast paced and does not include lunch. The age requirement for this trip is 10 years old or 90 lbs., if your group has a guest that is less than 12 years of age or 90 lbs. please request a senior guide. This trip runs 2-3 hours from Cunard to Fayette Station. 

Whether it's a cool spring morning, lazy summer day or a colorful fall afternoon this trip offers something for everyone. This is our most popular trip and you will navigate the biggest rapids the New River has to offer such as Suprise, Keeney Brothers, Double Z and Greyhound Bus Stopper. These Class III - V rapids are separated by calm pools offering plenty of time to relax, swim or just enjoy the beautiful scenery. Other attractions along the way include several ghost towns, jump rocks, deli-style lunch and the famous New River Gorge Bridge. The trip typically offers 4-7 hours of "on river" time depending on the water conditions. No experience is required for this section however, we have a minimum age guideline of 10 years old or 90 lbs., if your group does have a guest that is less than 12 years old or 90 lbs. please request a senior guide.

The Upper New River is a float trip with mild "family class" rapids.  It is the perfect outing for seniors, children and youth groups.  There is plenty of time to relax, swim and explore numerous ghost towns along the way while enjoying some of the most spectacular scenery the New River has to offer.  If you are looking for family adventure this is it.  This trip includes a riverside deli lunch and your choice of water craft.  We offer a nice relaxing ride in a raft or for the more adventurous we provide inflatable kayaks called duckies or sit on top kayaks.  This trip is recommended for children ages 5 and up. 

This trip combines our Upper and Lower Gauley trip in one day.  It offers 28 miles of non-stop whitewater containing approximately 150 rapids.  This trip is not only our longest but also our most strenuous so we require marathon customers to be in good physical condition.  Our minimum age for any Upper Gauley trip is 16 and experience is highly recommended.

This two-day trip starts with a BANG! You will begin at the thunderous base of Summersville Dam and instantly challenge the World Class Upper Gauley River. That evening while you discuss the events of the day around the campfire, enjoy a riverside gourmet dinner.

Day two brings our guides favorite section of the Gauley ... the Lower Gauley River. Wake to the aroma of fresh brewed coffee and a down howme country breakfast and off we go to catch the wave. Yet another day of whiterwater adventure.

The Upper Gauley River is world-class whitewater rafting at its finest. Your class V+ adventure will begin at the base of Summersville Dam. It is here where the you will witness the release of hydro-electric water  transforming the Gauley from a trickling creek to a raging class V+ river. You will navigate through five class V+ rapids: Insignificant, Pillow Rock, Lost Paddle, Iron Ring, Sweets Falls (a 12' waterfall).  Previous rafting experience is recommended and good physical condition is highly recommended. Our minimum age requirement is 16 years old.
