We meet you in downtown Calistoga at 10:00am for a bike fitting and quick safety talk, and we are on the road soon after. Your guide will talk about local history and will help you understand the process of making wine. We cycle along quiet country lanes, bike paths, and the famous Silverado Trail, to visit small, family-owned wineries. The tour will provide you with some unique opportunities--taste some Charbono from one of only 16 wineries in the world still producing this varietal, see a giant thumb sculpture (among others), or pet a friendly goat in a laid back tasting room. We may even catch an eruption by Old Faithful Geyser, one of three regularly erupting geysers in the world. Our bike ride is easy and flat, which allows you to enjoy the beautiful Napa Valley vineyard views. Midday we serve our Wine Country picnic lunch at one of the scenic winery stops. Among the vibrant vineyards you will enjoy our lunch and possibly enjoy a game of bocce ball. After lunch we visit one or two more wineries. After our final winery stop we head back to Calistoga, arriving around 3:30pm. Our support van will pick up any wine purchases and deliver them to you at your car. Here we bid you farewell and thank you for riding with us!
