With breathtaking views of San Francisco Bay, we think we found one of the quietest and most beautiful areas of Napa Valley for cycling, and wine tasting on our Carneros Sip 'N Cycle tour. Your guide will talk about local history and will help you understand the process of growing grapes and making wine at the small, family-owned wineries that you will visit. You may have the opportunity to taste some of the Pinot Noir and chardonnay for which the Carneros region is famous, taste wine directly from the barrel, or try a new and unusual varietal such as Syrah. The route is mostly flat, rolling along wide open spaces surrounded by lush green vineyards. While you taste wine, we'll set up our famous Wine Country picnic lunch surrounded by vineyards at one of our favorite scenic locations. After lunch there may be an opportunity for a quick ride through the vineyards amongst the vines. We will visit one or two more wineries, keeping an eye out for birds of prey. Our last stop is often at a sparkling winery modeled after a French chateau. After our final winery stop we head back to the haven of Moore's Landing, arriving around 3:00pm. Here we bid you a fond farewell and thank you for riding with us!
If you are interested in visiting an olive oil specialist please let us know before hand so we can set this up for you. There is a $20 tasting fee, and you will go home with a complementary bottle of olive oil.

Guide gratuity is not included in the tour price; we recommend a $20 gratuity per person for your hardworking guide.Tasting fees are not included in the tour price; most wineries charge a $5-20 tasting fee. Tastings can be shared between two people, and many wineries will waive the tasting fee with a minimum purchase.
