During this memorable 6-hour tour that begins at 10:00am in Healdsburg, you'll pedal along scenic country roads while being entertained with tales of the region's history and geography by your well informed guide. Our goal is to show you both the wine AND the produce side of the Dry Creek Valley, while giving you a fun, relaxed bike ride in arguably one of the best biking areas on earth! Our stops may include farms, wineries, fruit producers, garlic specialists, olive oil specialists and more.
One of our favorite stops is a well known organic and sustainable winery, Quivira Vineyards. We can explore their vegetable gardens, chicken coop, and learn about the practices of biodynamic farming as well as taste some of their organic wine. Another favorite winery stop is Preston, which showcases their Rhone style wines alongside local produce and baked goods in their tasting room.
Depending on the season, we may visit either Dry Creek Peach and Produce for fresh, succulent peaches or Bernier Farms for some garlic tasting.
A final "can't miss" spot is Dry Creek Olive Company, which features an impressive mill and delicious premium olive oils.
