You will arrive at our Idaho Springs office in Colorado, 2804 Colorado Blvd, where you will be greeted by our friendly staff. Then sign waivers, check-in, and take care of any outstanding financial matters. At check-in take the opportunity to decide if you are going to take advantage of our free wetsuit, splash jacket, and river boot use. Get changed in our dressing rooms and lock up your stuff in your car. DON'T take your car keys on the river! We will then fit you with a life jacket and a helmet. Let's get to the river! We'll transport you to the river in one of our vans or busses, give you a thorough safety talk and paddling instructions before your adventure begins. You will have a short float to get to know your guide and practice your paddle stroke before you begin your rafting trip through the heart of the gold mining district of Idaho Springs. You will enjoy a fun stretch of water while sightseeing historical locations. You and your crew will navigate class II and III rapids like Subway Falls, Mountain Lion, and Mister Twister and end up at Kermits. There you will rendezvous with a Raft Masters' vehicle which will transport you the short distance back to our headquarters. Once you have returned to Raft Masters, check-in your rafting equipment, and change into your dry clothes. Then join us in the gift shop to check out your action-packed photos and to listen to the wild stories of the day. Also you will have the opportunity to purchase souvenirs for yourself or a friend or family member who couldn't make the trip.
