The Upper Ocoee River runs through the 1996 Olympic whitewater competition course, offers great scenery and of course big whitewater. The Middle Ocoee River is one of the most continuous class III/IV whitewater runs in the U.S. and offers the thrill of over 17 major rapids. You will be treated to a fantastic riverside lunch served overlooking the Olympic section. Enjoy your lunch in the shade of the trees or by the river watching the non-stop action&nbsp;at Humongous, the largest rapid on the river!&nbsp;Lunch includes 4 deli meats, cheeses&nbsp;&amp; breads with all the trimmings to create your own sandwiches, along with peel-n-eat shrimp, an assortment of&nbsp;fresh fruit,&nbsp;chips, cookies, tea and lemonade. A snack and cold bottled water are available after your trip&nbsp;for the return ride. Plan 7 hours with us from check-in to departure with approx. 5 hours on the river.&nbsp;</FONT></SPAN>Join us on this ten-mile trip for the Southeast's finest whitewater adventure. <FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffff00">No experience is necessary but you must be 12 years of age for all rafting trips. At the put-in area, each guide will go over a detailed safety orientation, paddling instructions along with time to practice. The river trip will take approx. 5 hours. The Upper Ocoee provides beautiful scenery, big rapids and a challenging run through the 1996 Olympic whitewater competition course. Lunch will be served along the biggest rapid on the river, Humongous.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>Lunch includes: 4 deli meats, cheeses and breads with all the trimmings to create your own sandwiches along with peel-n-eat shrimp and an assortment of fruit, chips, cookies and drinks. After lunch you will continue on your trip to the Middle Ocoee where the fun continues with five additional miles of whitewater action. The bus will be at the take-out area, a short ride will return you back to the outpost.
