Advanced + Class V. The most advanced section on the Arkansas River begins in the little mountain town of Granite, which quickly fades away as you enter the exciting Granite Gorge. These Class III and IV rapids are merely a warm-up for what comes next.

Thrill seekers beware; The Numbers is a physically demanding paddle adventure, not a trip for the faint-hearted. Although this section winds its way through an awesome high alpine setting, you'll probably be too busy paddling to even notice!

Advanced+. Add a little more excitement to the Class IV-V Gauntlet trip! Show up early and we'll let you rappel seventy-five feet down to your raft to start the trip. This is a great way to fit a little climbing into your Colorado vacation. Novices are encouraged to participate.

12 Miles, Class II-III, Half Day Adult / Youth A family vacation with several activities or the challenge here on the river where the walls open to beautiful views of the snow covered Sangre de Cristo Mountains, rising to over 14,000 feet.
