Explore the timeless and magnificent Mujib Nature Reserve that surrounds Wadi Mujib, a deep and majestic canyon that cuts through rugged highlands and ends at the Dead Sea. Seasonal streams flow through many of the wadis (valleys), supporting luxurious aquatic plants in the river beds.
The area is a nature-lover's paradise, with its spectacular bio-diversity covering over 300 species of plants, 10 species of carnivores and numerous species of permanent and migratory birds. The Reserve also several walking trails to suit all ages and levels of fitness as one of the best ways to explore this reserve is on foot.
