Because of the many differences in both learning styles and teaching styles between men and women, we offer courses that are taught by women, for women. We have found that when men are absent from classes, women progress much faster. Novice and Level I Intermediate paddlers alike have grown to love the relaxed, non-competitive manner of teaching and constructive criticism that women can only get from other women. This is an excellent opportunity to learn new techniques and try out new boats while meeting and paddling with other women from the Jackson area and beyond.
