Learn to sail at Liberty Landing, in New York City! This 3 day course gives you the sailing skills and fundamental knowledge to take you through to an intermediate level. At course end, you'll confidently and competently handle daysailers up to 30 feet. You learn on the award winning Colgate 26 sailboat - safe, exciting and comfortable.
The 3 day schedule takes place over two weekends (Saturday, Sunday and the following Saturday). Each day includes 1 hour of classroom instruction followed by 6 hours of on-water instruction with a break for lunch ashore.
The course takes place at Liberty Landing Marina, sailing in the shadow of the world's greatest city, reliable afternoon sea breezes and easy access to Manhattan and New Jersey cities.
