Whether it's a cool spring morning, lazy summer day or a colorful fall aftrenoon this trip offers something for everyone. This is our most popular trip and you will navigate the biggest rapids the New River has to offer such as Suprise, Keeney Brothers, Double Z and Greyhound Bus Stopper. These Class III - V rapids are separated by calm pools offering plenty of time to relax, swim or just enjoy the beautiful scenery. Other attractions along the way include several ghost towns, jump rocks, deli-style lunch and hte famous New River Gorge Bridge. The trip typically offers 4-7 hours of "on river" time depending on the water conditions. No experience is required for this section however, we have a minimum age guideline of 10 years old or 90 lbs. is recommended.
