The Dolores four day trip offers more unbroken miles (200 miles in 10 days) of wilderness river running than any other river trip in the lower 48 states. One of America`s best which ranks only with the Grand Canyon of the Colorado and the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho. SEASON: This river is an early SPRING run and best mid April through mid June. Low water in the summer and fall dictates the possiblility of changing trip to the San Miguel River.
