This course is designed for those who haven't ever paddled before but want to get into the exciting sport of whitewater kayaking. Topics covered include: wet exit, paddle strokes (sweep, forward, correction strokes), hip snap, braces, and T- rescue.

This course is designed both for those who have never rolled but want to learn, and those that have been kayaking for years but want to improve their roll technique. Student to instructor ratios are kept to 5:1, so you can be sure to get individual attention.

Open pool session at the Golden Rec Center.  No gear provided.  Pool not accessible until approximately 6:45pm.  Please show up on time.
