This mountain bike tour uses the famous "RKO Road" in Grand Teton National Park - Wyoming which traverse across wide open sagebrush terrain - home to herds of roaming Antelope before descending to a plateau just above the famous "Snake River". The tour continues to ride northward along the banks of the Snake River with refreshing scenery of the river basin to the east and spectacular views of the towering Tetons Mountain Range to the west. The Snake River Watershed provides great habitat for frequent sightings of various wildlife such as elk, moose, bison, osprey and bald eagles. This bike tour is an out & back route - about 10 to 15 miles and uses several less traveled service road whose terrain is moderate with some rocky sections.
An Outstanding Scenic Riding Experience.
