The Bareboat Cruising course guides you through the techniques of sailing big boats, building confidence in your abilities and comfort with the cruising lifestyle. By course end you will have gained the skills to charter or sail into the sunset on your own cruising yacht. Course pre-requisite: Basic Keelboat certification.
Your 4 day schedule takes place Tuesday through Friday and includes 1? hours of classroom each day followed by 6 hours of on-water instruction with a break for lunch ashore.
The course takes place at Liberty Landing Marina, sailing in the shadow of the world's greatest city, reliable afternoon sea breezes and easy access to Manhattan and New Jersey cities.
