Beginner Kayak Lessons:Scenic Saturday
An introduction to the basics of whitewater and flatwater kayaking with no prior experience required. Instruction begins with a dry land session. The Class I-II run covers paddling strokes, wet exits, safety, self rescue, water reading, and analyzing rapids.

Pool Lesson #3 Rolling Requires Repetition: You'll learn what it takes to roll a kayak upright and get lots of practice. Rolling can seem complex and disorienting at first, but simple drills and practice will overcome initial fears. Mastery of the roll is a zen inspired process.

Kayaking QuickStart is a brief introduction to paddling a kayak. Students are presented with basic information on dressing to paddle safely and potential hazards and simple rescues. A minimal paddle skill set is presented and practiced, allowing students to safely and comfortably maneuver on still wat
