Teenage Whitewater Skills River Camp

Ages 13-17 years: In response to the demand for a wilderness oriented whitewater skills training for youths under 18, Dvorak Expeditions has added this 11-day whitewater course.

River Guide Training & (Individuals "Non" employment training) CO/UT/NM, Multi-River Course
Includes Swiftwater Rescue Technician course 3 days following satisfactory completion of the guide training course.

At the Chatfield Resevoir in sunny Colorado you'll gain balance, control and confidence. Learn the skills of river kayaking, safety concepts, and basic knowledge.

This program is 20 hours in length, includes all of the above, and covers such subjects as: advanced technical rescue, helicopter management and a major mock rescue, usually at night. The class is arduous and fatiguing, and all subjects are taught regardless of weather.

SRT Advanced

This is the second of the two courses needed by fire personnel to complete the requirements for the NFPA 1670 Standard in water for the technician level. It integrates techniques learned in SRT1, as well as advanced river/flood situations and high angle rope techniques.
