Private Photo Floats are available for professional photographers. Includes your choice of private start time, an experienced professional guide to row the oar framed raft (no paddling, just shooting photos), up to 5 hours of river time. The cost is $395 for one photographer, and $495 for two. We can customize the trip to your needs, just let us know what you want to do!

Itinerary

Day 1

Blue Sky will meet you at Howard Miller Steelhead Park, 5110 Rail Road Ave, located in Rockport WA. Your guide will give you a quick safety lesson and find out what you want out of your trip. We will spend about 5 hours on the water, plan on a total of 6 hours with us.

Warm Waterproof Boots



Warm pants and sweater or fleece (non-cotton)



Warm coat



Thermal underwear



Warm waterproof hat



Gloves or mittens



Rain jacket or windbreaker



Change of clothes to be left in your car for after the trip

Blue Sky Outfitters Provides:



Water resistant drybags on each raft (for extra sweaters, hats, etc.)



Coast Guard approved life jackets



All Participants: It is important for your comfort that you do not bring any cotton clothing to wear on the trip (sweatshirts, jeans, etc.) - unlike wool and synthetics like polypropylene and acrylic, cotton will not keep you warm if it gets wet.



Please remember to bring warm waterproof boots to wear - no tennis shoes as your feet will get cold. We use self bailing rafts, and they do have a small amount of water on the floor. And don't forget your camera and binoculars!
