I still remember my first trip on the Peace River. It was at least twenty years ago and it was amazing. It was absolutely beautiful and the river flowed so peacefully. We stopped and found amazing fossils at several locations. There was very little "civilization" along the river.
Today the river is much the same as twenty years ago. This part of Florida has for the most part remained wild and unspoiled. Trips along the river are a great adventure into "Old Florida" the way it was many years ago. There is much wildlife to see - especially on overnight trips and there are still treasures to find along the riverbed. Camp for one or two nights along the river depending on the trip you choose.
The price quoted includes all gear, 2 nights on the river, and meals. Single overnight trips are available. Special accommodations with air conditioning aboard a sleeper bus are available upon request at a different rate.
