Especially convenient for Eagle Crest Resort and Black Butte Ranch visitors, this trip includes a deli lunch and 5 miles of great whitewater. Splash jackets are provided at no charge and can be worn over the top of your rafting clothes. The McKenzie will capture your heart with incredible scenic beauty. The crystal clear waters of this fast-flowing river rush down a cobbled river bed. The mysterious blue holes invite you to stay and play while the old growth forest lush with ferns and mosses begs for your attention. The McKenzie River is an unforgettable river experience.
Departures: The Eagle Crest and Black Butte Ranch McKenzie Halfday goes out Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays in July and August. Other departure offerings are available in May, June & September. Custom days and departure times may be available. Please call one of our friendly staff to discuss the needs of your group.

Please show up 30 minutes early to allow for check in, trips will leave promptly at the designated trip time. The McKenzie Half-Day spends 2 - 2 1/2 hours at the river.

<P>Visa/Matercard, Cash or Check to pay for your trip at check-in. And a little incidental money for souvenir photos and accessories. Bring a dry set of clothes to wear for the van ride after the trip. You may also want to bring snacks or non-alcoholic drinks for your comfort on the ride to and from the river. </P>
<P><STRONG>Wear: </STRONG> Clothes and shoes that you can get wet. </P>
<P>In Warm Weather, Shorts, T-shirts, Shoes that stay on your feet like sandals with ankle straps, tennies or water socks. </P>
<P>In Cooler Weather, Nylon or Polyester clothes--Walking or Exercise Clothes--are great. Shoes that stay on your feet, of course. You can rent our full coverage splash gear for $5.00</P>
