We are floating through the beautiful Deschutes National Forest, where the flows of lava from Newberry National Volcanic Monument shaped the Deschutes River over 7,000 years ago. Towering ponderosa pins and quaking gaspends cover the landscape as river otters playfully swim through this river wonderland.
