This course is for those who want to get into the exciting yet relaxing sport of sea kayaking (also known as touring). All specialty equipment is provided (sea kayak, paddle, spray skirt, PFD, paddle jacket). All you need to bring is the same personal equipment as you would wear to the beach: sunscreen, sunglasses, something to get wet in (swimsuit), wetsuit booties or river sandals (Chacos, Tevas, etc.), a hat, a bottle of water, and a snack.Meet at the gravel pond at Chatfield State Park. Enter through the main entrance to the park off of Wadsworth Blvd (entry fee is $6 per vehicle).
