Learn to kayak when snow is on the ground or during the evening when you have the time. This three part series will teach you all you need before you head to the river. Start with the basics and progress to mastering the kayak roll. The clean warm environment of a swimming pool can really help the learning process. Come Join us for a fun exhilarating experience.

Itinerary

Must Know Kayaking Basics

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt"><FONT face=Calibri>In this class you will learn the most important skill needed in kayaking, how to get out of a capsized kayak easily and safely.&nbsp; Once you have mastered this skill it is on to learning how to paddle efficiently.&nbsp; You will finish up by learning the hip-snap by practicing the t-rescue.</FONT></P>

Kayak Rolling Fundamentals

<P class=MsoNoSpacing style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><FONT face=Calibri>In this class you will learn all the necessary skills needed to roll a kayak upright.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>The class begins with the hip-snap and progresses through the t-rescue.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>You will then learn the proper way to brace and how it directly applies to the kayak roll.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>Last is figuring out body position and what works best for your own individual rolling style.</FONT></P>

Mastering the Roll
