Now you can use your physical strengths to achieve something extraordinary. Nothing compares with the view from the top of these mountains, and you won't get there by driving. The fun happens while you earn your way to the top.

In six days you'll have the time you need to gradually improve your physical performance and reach your personal peak. You'll also have the benefit of morning and evening yoga sessions to help sustain your body, prevent strain, and rejuvenate. The air is excitingly different up here: cleaner, lighter. Your lungs fully expand. You can kick start your life into a new level of fitness, while playing!

When you take your new skills home, your friends will wonder how you rocketed into such incredible health and energy. If you're new to mountain climbing, you'll learn the basics so you can climb with confidence for years to come. If you're an experienced climber, our guides can take you to new heights. Even if you studied a guidebook for weeks, you could never get the same security you will have with our guides. We assess your abilities and lead you to the wilderness site offering the perfect combination of challenge and fun, and the right conditions for you.

We also know the best spots in Boulder and have extensive experience in the unique mountain weather patterns of this area, so you'll always get the most out of your days. Your explorations in the mountains will be by bike, foot, and rope. Some favorite activities include a Mount Sanitas hike, an Eldorado Canyon climb, a low ropes challenge, hikes and climbs in Chautauqua and the Flatirons, a mountain top bike ride, the Rock and Roll bike trek, and a tree planting ceremony that connects you to this beautiful area for life.

After each daily adventure of climbing, hiking or biking, you'll coast back to your hotel and be pampered in the luxury of cosmopolitan Boulder, the "Gateway to the Rockies." Here you get the best of both worlds: the sophistication of a city with fine restaurants, cafes and shops nestled right up against the wilds of the mountains. It's not uncommon to see deer, red foxes and other wildlife on the wooded path through the center of the city. With everything you want so close, you'll never have to get in a car while you're here. The mountains you climb are in clear view from your hotel and the downtown promenade.

Accommodations: This is no-fuss vacation planning at its easiest. Your "base camp" will be at one of our partner hotels, located in the heart of Boulder. The downtown attractions, Boulder Creek Bike Path, Farmer's Market and city parks are all accessible via a short bike ride or walk. Included: Guide services, two daily yoga classes, mountain climbing and gear, hiking, week long bike rentals, hotel accommodations, breakfasts and lunches. (All meals are organic/natural whenever possible.)

Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1- We all meet in Boulder, Colorado. First, get to know your guide and deepen trust and friendship with fellow group members while playing some fun, icebreaker games. Next, we warm up for the day with outdoor yoga (all levels). Our main activity is a leisurely paced hike to Mount Sanitas. There, we learn about the flora and fauna and get to know each other. In order to acclimate to the high altitude and prep ourselves for tomorrow’s big adventure, we keep the first day mellow.

Day 2

Day 2- After a healthy breakfast and morning yoga (the way we start every morning), we bike to Eldorado Canyon. This spectacular canyon is world renown for its amazing climbing. There you’ll have a wide range of climbing options appropriate for first timers through experienced climbers. By day two you are climbing to new heights in a safe and supportive atmosphere.

Day 3

Day3- Today we have the opportunity to take in beautiful mountain landscapes while riding the entire day and taking breaks as needed. We focus on our stretching today, as well as eating nutritious meals to stay strong throughout the ride.

Day 4

Day 4- This is a very exciting day because we explore Chautauqua, Boulder’s oldest and most popular mountain park. Spend the day hiking in the presence of Boulder’s most prominent features, 1,000 feet high, red sandstone, rock walls called the Flatirons. These enormous earthly monuments mark an entrance to our countries largest mountain range, the Rockies.

Day 5

Day 5- Today we focus on balance in our morning yoga to prepare for a day of climbing. We have the opportunity to build on the techniques learned earlier in the week and truly focus on our connection with nature through climbing. After lunch, we test our skills in a few low-rope challenges. Even if you are pushed to your limits, you’ll find yourself laughing. These challenges help us develop as individuals and team members.

Day 6

Day 6 - We conclude our week with a spectacular team bike ride. This daylong ride is the perfect way to feel the positive changes in your body-- results you’ve earned during your time with us. Vehicle support and multiple stretch breaks help us finish the ride feeling great about ourselves. Then we take part in a community tree care project and a closing ceremony. After such a fun week together no one wants to say goodbye, so instead, we share our experiences and hope to see each other again soon.
