Expediciones Chile found what Magellan couldn`t find, an all water route across the Andes. The Andes to the Ocean is Expediciones Chile?s most rugged and spectacular sea kayaking trip. Guests will spend two nights in the little alpine village of Futaleufu before their trip. On the first day, expedition members will participate in one of many possible multi-sport adventure activities - including optional rafting on the world famous Rio Futaleufu! In the evening Expedicones Chile outfits and equips guests for the trip, as on the next day they will put-in at the bottom of the Rio Futaleufu to start their voyage across Lago Yelcho: a passage through steep isolated Patagonian fjords that cuts through the heart of the Andes Mountains.
Expedition members will camp on white sandy beaches, view magical waterfalls, experience the remarkable fishing and gaze at the towering glaciers high above. Each evening participants will set up their tents then relax while the guides prepare a delicious dinner. On subsequent days the group will enter the Rio Yelcho that runs all the way to the Pacific coastline, near the seaside village of Chaiten.
