See beautiful Colorado! This ride follows and then crosses portions of Chalk Creek. You'll also follow a part of the narrow gauge railroad that went to St. Elmo around the turn of the century. This ride gives you stunning, scenic views of the Collegiate Peaks. Mt. Princeton Riding Stables is in its 29th year of operation. To reach the stables:
Mount Princeton Riding Stables is located approximately 8 miles south of Buena Vista, CO. Take US 285 South to Nathrop, then turn right on county road 162, and proceed west 2 miles to the Stables. Stables are on the RIGHT SIDE OF HWY 162(North side).
From Salida, CO take US 285 North approximately 17 miles to Nathrop, then turn left on County Road 162, and proceed West 2 miles to the Stables. Stables are on the LEFT SIDE OF HWY 162.
